This war has gone on long enough,
And it shall soon be over.
I can see the light of day once more,
Never have I seen such beauty.
It is a sign of the end,
The end we were all waiting for.
As I sit by my friends,
No, my family.
In their eyes they are not as happy.
Even though we won,
We lost too many.
I can still hear the cries,
Haunting my mind.
The threat of death everywhere,
It will never leave.
But today we rest,
Though few truly will.
Tomorrow we will live,
For those who were not able too.
And as for yesterday,
It will never be forgotten.
The fallen shall forever and always,
Be in our hearts, in our memories.

Well, due to a sudden flow of brain blood this happened before i went to sleep. It is for an art trade with Gear wolf, he wanted me to do poem for the group so i did.
